The Eclipse tailpiece is machined out of .125" solid brass and ebony. Being relatively rigid it allows us to optimally define the string angle over the bridge. That along with its mass greatly improves the tone and responsiveness, which ultimately make the instrument easier to play.
There are a few variations available. The Long-Bottom incorporates a new end pin while the Short-Bottom is designed to fit above your current end pin. You also have the option of a Long-Top or Short-Top. A Long-Top increases the string angle over the bridge by a few degrees and the Short-Top will keep it at a relatively standard angle.
